Golden Hotel made my first 3 days in Korea a pleasurable experience

A rather grand and stylish property with the staff being exceptionally helpful to find my way around Incheon City regarding bus, metro and global ATM This was particularly helpful as the language remained a barrier despite the translation apps

The fly screen in my room didn’t stay in place

if you are a tourist stay somewhere else!

large room, hot water in large shower

at the front door was a mouldy old mat thrown in a heap! loud music blaring from a large speaker in reception, so loud I could not hear the staff speaking. A little white dog running everywhere in reception. the room we had been given had the most awful smell so we asked to be moved, the second room was worse! the third room was OK. Nothing was really as clean as it should have been, long black hair and crumbs scattered around. I would not recommend this hotel.

close to the must see areas and restaurants

The hotel was nearby and walking distance to the must see locations and restaurants within the area. The staff were helpful and accommodating as we arrived early and was able to check in.

no laundry service although a coin laundry is next to the 7eleven, this isn't a big deal I just had to write something on here...but overall no real complaints

The room was clean. Near the subway.

Compared to other 2-star hotels I've been to, i was quite disappointed here. -Bathtub faucet(for the cold water) not working properly. I had to use the hot water faucet to fill the tub which took almost 1 hr to fill because water was too weak. And had to wait again for several more minutes because it was still too hot to immediately dip into it. -Some outlets not working -Few hygiene stuff And the price for a one-day extension is almost the same as what i paid for for my 3nights reservation. Yeah, i agreed to it because i had no choice.

bad& terrible

no breakfast provided at weekends. the location is good, about 100m away from the metro station.

the smell of its fragrance is really bad for me. the cleanliness and facilities of the room was really poor, which made me really uncomfortable during those 2 nights. I could hardly find a plug in the room. I had to charge my mobile phone through the plug in toilet. the experience was really terrible.
